Raíces is a Women of Color Family Owned and Operated Plantita Shop. It was founded in 2020 by two sisters Vanessa and Melissa Hurtado Torres. Planting and caring for plants became a healing and therapeutic practice that had a positive impact on their overall mental health - particularly as struggling with depression and anxiety; therefore, they decided to share that with others.
